Roop St. in Carson City, recently celebrated its grand opening — offering one- and two-bedroom apartments with a focus on supporting veterans and working families. Nevada Appeal At Pinecrest Construction, building Northern Nevada communities is what drives us every day. Pinecrest Construction & Development is serving as general contractor for the Kiley Commerce Center in Spanish Springs, a five-building industrial development that will provide modern, flexible space ranging from 2,375 to 6,750 square feet for smaller local businesses that have been underserved by recent large-scale industrial projects in the Reno area.

Nevada's housing crisis has reached a tipping point, with skyrocketing costs pushing essential workers—teachers, firefighters, and nurses—out of the communities they serve. Governor Joe Lombardo's Assembly Bill 540, passed in 2025, represents the most significant state investment in housing affordability in Nevada's history.

Nevada has taken a significant step forward in worker safety with the passage of Assembly Bill 478, allowing construction work to begin as early as 5 a.m. during the summer months. This new law, which passed both chambers unanimously, represents a bipartisan effort to protect construction workers from the state's increasingly dangerous heat conditions.
