Pincecrest construction donates to urban roots

We’re proud to donate a pergola to Urban Roots to help create a cooler, more comfortable space for kids working and learning in the family farm area. The added shade will give students a place to take breaks, stay protected from the sun, and continue enjoying hands-on experiences in the garden. Supporting organizations that connect young people with agriculture, teamwork, and healthy living is something us here at Pinecrest Construction live by.

Urban Roots is a Reno-based nonprofit dedicated to growing healthy minds, bodies, and communities through garden-based and seed-to-table education. Their programs connect kids, families, and the community to healthy food, environmental stewardship, and hands-on learning experiences that inspire a deeper connection to the land and where food comes from.
