Eddy House is a non-profit organization which entered into a Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) contract with Pinecrest to build a state of the art Transitional Living Center for homeless youth of Northern Nevada. This project has been partially funded with the Home Means Nevada Initiative Funds and is a recipient of State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds
(“SLFRF”) and adheres to Davis Bacon requirements.
The project consists of a 5-story concrete podium structure that spans 24,850 SF and includes 36 studio units. The building design incorporates CMU walls on the first floor and 4 stories of wood framing above it. In terms of amenities, the building is well-equipped with energy rated appliances and high-tech cameras and security systems. It includes an elevator for easy access to all floors, an open parking garage for staff, and recreational areas. Additionally, it offers laundry services for the convenience of the residents and administrative offices for efficient management of the building.
