Pat Pinjuv was born and raised in Nevada. Growing up in Las Vegas in a construction family gave him firsthand knowledge of the building trades. His degree in accounting from the University of Nevada further enhances his business sense. Pat has over 30 years of experience in the construction industry, including hands on experience as a field engineer at the REECO Nevada Nuclear Test Site, Superintendent, Project Manager and Regional Manager with McKellar Development Co., and Vice President with Caughlin Ranch Development. Utilizing his technical building experience, Pat founded Pinecrest Construction and Development Co. in 1991. He is a very hands-on manager and is intimately involved in every stage of a construction project. It is not uncommon to see him patrolling the jobsite showing the tradesmen a trick or two he has learned over the years. He has built a variety of projects throughout the area ranging from $1,000 to over $10,000,000 in the last 23 years. In that time, he has worked with a variety of owners, many of whom consider him a good friend today.

Pam moved to Reno from Bakersfield, California, in 1978 to attend the University of Nevada, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History. She married Pat Pinjuv in 1982, and in 1991, she helped Pat found Pinecrest Construction and Development Co.

Pam has played an intricate role in the company, particularly in overseeing the accuracy of project portfolios as well as project managing residential and office projects.

Ryan was raised in the construction industry. Initially starting out as a field laborer at the age of 13, Ryan spent his early career as a demolition crew foreman. He went on to pursue a degree in Construction Management from Colorado State University. He has experience working for Bentar of Las Vegas whose expertise is in casino construction. He also has several years working for Rudolph & Sletten of San Diego working on high profile, high dollar projects such as the UCSD Hospital, Palomar High School and the remodel of nearly 9 acres of the San Diego Zoo.

Ryan came to Pinecrest Construction and Development Co. in 2009.  Since that time, he has helped to start the solar division and has managed numerous projects, most notably The Depot, Gordon Silver, Basin Street Properties, Eldorado, Morgan Stanley. Ryan obtained a Master of Finance Degree in 2012 from the University of Nevada, which has served to expand his depth and breadth of the construction industry.

Mike has an enormous amount of commercial construction experience in both the field and the office as a lead superintendent. He started his career as a commercial industrial carpenter in Montana and Washington. He located to Reno in 1994 and worked for United Construction until he joined Pinecrest in 2012. Mike’s attention to finish details and his ability to build quality construction schedules makes him a great asset to Pinecrest.

Mike is committed to providing a quality product while being cost effective and time efficient. His experience includes projects in Tilt Up Construction $5M to $23M, Government Projects $4M to $15M, Retail and Manufacturing, Institutional and Tenant Improvements.

Multifamily Executive

Brian began his career in construction in 1992 with Nevada Builders, where he learned to read plans, run equipment, frame, grade, and ultimately became a foreman running his own crew. Brian then owned CF Construction where he built custom homes, until he joined the team at Sunseri Construction in 1996. During Brian’s 25 years at Sunseri, he was in charge of 21 different multifamily projects from start to finish. Brian has extensive knowledge of building methods and regulations, as well as the ability to coordinate all phases of multifamily construction from beginning to end. Brian has built a wide range of projects, from 26-unit projects to 250-unit projects. Brian has built over 1,200 apartment units in total, focusing entirely on LIHTC projects.

Project Manager

Tim has been in the construction industry for 35 years. He started his career as a framer, building both commercial and residential construction projects. Tim relocated to Reno from the Bay Area in 2002, to Estimate and Project Manage a 450-unit townhome subdivision. Since then, Reno has become home. Tim has extensive knowledge of all phases of construction. With that acquired knowledge Tim began his career with Pinecrest Construction in 2000 as Project Manager/ Lead estimator for all of Ground up Projects Including all Preconstruction Management. He has extensive awareness of business principles and logistics, and outstanding coordination skills in all phases of the construction process.

Tyler is a Nevada native born in Las Vegas and attended the University of Nevada to pursue a degree in Mechanical Engineering. His journey from a Project Engineer to a Project Manager at Pinecrest since 2021 demonstrates his adaptability and growth to excel in the field of commercial tenant improvement projects. His ability to work effectively with diverse teams and manage both large and small-scale construction projects speaks volumes about his analytical skills. The strong relationships he has built with property management companies in the Reno/Sparks area further attest to his networking and relationship-building skills.

Superintendent/Project Manager

Bryce got his start in the construction industry in 2019 after seven years in the heavy equipment industry.  Bryce has had a significant and positive impact in the construction industry, especially with his work on various projects for Renown, and was a proud contributor in converting Renown’s Mill Street Parking Garage into an Alternate Care Unit.  Since joining Pinecrest he has completed several tenant improvement projects as both the project manager and superintendent.  His ability to handle multiple aspects of construction projects, from electrical and plumbing to project management, demonstrates a wide range of skills. Moreover, his approachable nature and strong communication skills are invaluable traits that likely contribute to his success and the satisfaction of his clients.

Project Manager

Jasen has over 30 years of experience in the building industry. After graduating from San Diego State University went to work for the City of San Marcos, California, as a Public Works Administrator, managing streets, parks and vehicle maintenance operations, and administrating capital improvement projects such as the construction of road improvements and public facilities. In the private sector, as a Project Manager for various general contractors, experience in commercial projects and public works construction, hard-bid, design-build and negotiated work.

Tomara’s impressive career trajectory in the construction industry is quite remarkable. Starting as a Project Coordinator and climbing up to higher roles in project management, her extensive experience in various critical areas such as estimating, cost accounting, billing, and contract negotiations has undoubtedly made her a valuable member of any team. The completion of over 1.2 million square feet of concrete tilt-up projects, along with numerous other commercial projects, all delivered on time and within budget, showcases her proficiency and dedication to her work. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her dogs.

Steve was born in Carson City and began his career in construction in 1998 with Gary Laack Construction building custom single-family homes in the Reno/Tahoe Basin.  His trade skills allowed him to work while attending Gonzaga University where he graduated with degrees in Law & Public Policy and Economics.  Steve began working in real estate finance with Northlake Investment Group in Seattle Washington where he sourced over 400 million dollars in multi-family acquisitions.    After completing his M.B.A., Steve returned home to Nevada where he oversaw the financial and construction performance of a portfolio of master-planned communities in Northern Nevada.  In his free time, Steve enjoys spending time in the mountains of Nevada with his dog, Paddy.

Project Engineer

Anthony graduated from UNR in 2021 with a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering. While his love for the Raider’s and A’s is prevalent, he also has a strong passion for construction. He began his career with Pinecrest in December 2021 and immediately started working on active construction projects for the company. His attention to detail, time management skills, and his ability to make sure the tasks get done are what make him a great asset to this team.  His calm demeanor and positivity, help make all these projects successful.

Wyatt Grigg’s (Elko Native) was born and raised in Elko Nevada, and with a Civil Engineering degree from UNR Wyatt is very experienced Project Engineer with excellent communication skills and problem-solving abilities.

Graduating from the University of Nevada, Reno (UNR) with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, and then joining Pinecrest as a Project Engineer is a significant achievement. His dedication and hard work were recognized during his time at UNR, where he was awarded the Silver Award on Innovation Day.

In addition to his academic pursuits, Levi also demonstrated his practical skills and customer service abilities by working at Home Depot. There, he assisted customers with multifaceted housing projects. His exceptional performance led to him being named Employee of the Month six times over five years.

Levi’s calm demeanor and can-do attitude make him an asset to Pinecrest Construction.

Project Engineer

Graduating from the University of Nevada, Reno (UNR) with a Bachelor of Science degree in 2024, he has already demonstrated his skills and dedication in the field of engineering. His internship at the Hamilton Company as a Manufacturing Engineer allowed him to gain practical experience in maintaining manufacturing lines and developing new solutions.

One of his notable achievements during this time was the successful assembly and validation of a product that was being insourced in his department. This project, which took a month to complete and resulted in a product valued at $5,000 per unit, showcases Blake’s ability to handle complex tasks and deliver results.

As a Project Engineer at Pinecrest, Blake continues to apply his keen eye for detail and process improvement skills. His experience and drive make him a valuable addition to the team.

Project Coordinator

Katy joined Pinecrest as the Accounting Assistant in 2015.  For six years, she worked closely with the Controller, ensuring timely billings and payments to our property owners/clients and subcontractors.  In 2021, Katy moved into the position of Project Coordinator at Pinecrest, where she provides on-site administrative support for certain multi-family projects.  Katy’s attention to detail and organizational skills make her a perfect fit for the Project Coordinator position, and an asset to Pinecrest as a whole.

Katy was raised in Reno, where she lives with her husband (who is also in the construction industry) and two young children.

Superintendent

Jeremiah started his career in residential construction in 1994. During that time, he was a journeyman and managed framing crews. After being in residential construction for over 10 years adding to his resume of doing finish carpentry and custom homes, he moved into the commercial construction industry. He has now been in commercial construction for over 15 years adding more tools to his tool belt with HVAC and Electrical knowledge. He began working for Pinecrest in 2021 where his people, leadership, and time management skills allowed him to take on a role as a superintendent. One of his most notable completed projects with Pinecrest was the tenant improvement of the entire 2^nd floor of 50 W. Liberty for ITS Logistics in Reno, NV.

Superintendent

Juston has been working in construction industry in the Reno area since 1995. He has worked in nearly every phase of large commercial, and Public Works projects, as well as several years building and managing the construction of custom homes in the Lake Tahoe area.  Juston has a wide range of construction experience which includes tilt up construction, schools, manufacturing, and residential. Juston uses his extensive experience in the field to successfully manage quality control and schedule on complex projects.

Brett started his career in construction right out of high school in 2003. After finishing high school he came to work for Pinecrest and was hired as a Laborer. He quickly earned an Assistant Superintendent position by staying on task, doing his job diligently, and being able to handle each project as it came. While working as an Assistant Superintendent he furthered his knowledge in construction by taking construction management classes at night to strengthen his role. He then worked his way up to being a Superintendent. Through out his career Brett has built restaurants, banks, car dealerships, and several office buildings. His drive to see the job from start to finish, attention to detail, and maintaining the schedule make him great asset to this company.

Superintendent

Dillon represents the next generation of residential construction professionals. Dillon started in the field as a storefront and window installer, rapidly moving into a management position for a respected door and trim company in Reno. Dillon moved into tenant improvement work with Luxe Industries, and successfully lead the Reno City Center project as Superintendent. With Pinecrest Construction, Dillon has completed the 38-unit Sierra Cove project and the 40-unit Truckee Heights project in Sparks, Nevada. Dillon is currently working on the Eagles Landing project in Carson City.

Nick is a very experienced project superintendent with several large podium and apartment complexes under his belt. In total Nick has built over 1200+ apartment units. Nick is currently building a very complex 905-unit, 120,000 SF, 3 story metal building in south Reno.

Charlie’s journey in the construction industry started at a very young age.  Starting as an apprentice with his father, a framing carpenter and general contractor, he gained hands-on experience early on. His service as a US Army Paratrooper likely instilled discipline and teamwork skills that he later applied to his own construction business in Colorado. His career has come full circle, bringing him back to Nevada and an asset to the Pinecrest Team.

Paul has been working in the Construction Industry in the Reno area since 2000. He has worked in commercial and residential for 24 years, Paul has a wide range of construction experience which includes hospital construction, tentative improvements, and residential construction. Paul uses his extensive experience in construction management and in field training to successfully manage high-quality construction. Paul is an OSHA Authorized Construction Trainer.

CFO

With over three decades of financial management experience in leadership roles across manufacturing, hospitality/travel, construction, and the commercial aviation industry, Patricia has provided the business knowledge and strategic direction required for sustaining business growth.

Patricia began her professional career in Texas after graduating from the University of Houston with a BBA in Accounting. Years later, career opportunities led her to S. California and then to N. Nevada where she worked for a local home builder from 2003 to 2010. Additional construction experience came from 2011 to 2013, by working for a local public works contractor with projects in CA & NV ranging from $5M to $35M.

Career highlights include multiple executive appointments for private and public companies, a member of an executive team that successfully established a US green field operation for UK public company and responsible for establishing a startup division in the EU for US based private company.

Patricia joined the Pinecrest team in 2020 with a commitment to support and advance business operations with a focus on growth and sustainability.

Loretta Wales, a payroll specialist, has recently joined Pinecrest Construction. With 30 years of experience, she has adeptly managed both accounts receivables and payables in California and Nevada.

Administrative Coordinator

Lori Griscom, who joined Pinecrest in 2023 as the Administrative Coordinator, brings a wealth of experience to her role. Her background includes work in residential construction, property management, and most recently, an emergency response center in Florida. Lori has held positions such as customer service manager, licensed realtor, and executive assistant. Her expertise in office administration and operations makes her an invaluable asset to Pinecrest.

Lori’s attention to detail and organizational skills are well-suited for handling the day-to-day office operations.  Her journey from being born and raised in Florida to relocating to Reno in 2022 (after meeting her husband on a job site) reflects her commitment to family and professional growth.

The Barker

Louie is very energetic and alert. He likes to hang out in the front office to see what is going on outside. Louie specializes in barking at strangers.

The Cuddler

Bruce is sweet, likes to play and cuddle. So, whenever you are around him, please be sure to give him some cuddle time. Bruce resembles Rowlf the Dog from the Muppets.

The Greeter

Roger is a half-loving, half-protector when it comes to the Pinecrest Office. He loves you when you provide belly rubs and treats but protects the company when you walk through that front door. Do not fear he is all bark and no bite. He truly is the full package. Please note that he has the best style in the office, as he loves to wear different bandanas after a trip the groomers. If you don’t hear him around the office, you can find him with his mom Pam. Sleeping with a ball right next to him. Did we mention he likes to fetch?

The Puppy

Junior is a natural when it comes to hunting.  He is very sweet and likes belly rubs and taking naps.
